Michael Rimington, Clinical Director
Based wholly at SEFC, Michael Rimington gained his accreditation as a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist in 1997 before entering private practice as an infertility specialist. He started working in the field of assisted conception in 1992 and gained an MD in 1997. Mr. Rimington specialises in the management of women with polycystic ovarian disease, a subject on which he has published widely. In 2004 he joined Mark Wilcox to form SEFC and established a new assisted conception unit in Tunbridge Wells. He is the designated Person Responsible for the clinic as registered with the HFEA. |

Mark Wilcox, Clinical Director
Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist Mark Wilcox is a lead consultant in the provision of fertility treatment at Pembury and Maidstone NHS Trust and works from Pembury and Maidstone NHS Hospitals and SEFC. Appointed a consultant in 1995, he has developed his interest in reproductive medicine whilst continuing to work as a general obstetrician and gynaecologist and spearheads the NHS infertility services at both Pembury and Maidstone Hospitals. |

Ruth Hardy, Clinic Manager
Ruth has worked in healthcare since 1980, beginning her career as a medical secretary in London NHS teaching hospitals. She spent 3 years as a private practice manager in Harley Street before moving into private hospital management locally and becoming a Deputy Hospital Manager in 1998. Ruth joined SEFC in May 2005 bringing with her a wealth of experience in developing and managing patient services and healthcare businesses. Ruth is the Registered Manager of the Clinic and is responsible for the operational and financial performance of the business. |

Jane Holman, Nurse Co-ordinator
Jane joined SEFC in early 2007 and manages the clinic’s nursing team, in addition to serving as our Egg Share, Donor Programme and External Clinic Co-ordinator. Previously Nurse Manager at the Assisted Conception Unit at Chelsea and Westminster, she has worked in this field since 1993. Having gained her Fertility Ultrasound Certificate in 2003, Jane provides a comprehensive scanning service to patients alongside handling nurse consultations and general clinical responsibilities. |

Marion Eagles, Fertility Nurse
Marion has 19 years experience working with in the field of fertility and joined our nursing team in April 1008. Previously she was involved in setting up a new fertility unit in a private hospital where she was Nurse Manager and Nominal Licencee to HFEA. During the last year she prepared another private hospital to commence operating as a satellite unit to a large London teaching hospital. She undertakes follicular scanning, nurse consultations and works alongside the clinicians in the procedure room. She is looking forward to using her skills to complement the high standards of care offered at SEFC.

Kay Bowles, Fertility Nurse
Kay has 20 years’ experience in nursing in acute hospitals, specialising in areas including renal dialysis, paediatrics and surgical rehabilitation. She chose to specialise in fertility when she joined SEFC in 2005 and particularly enjoys the challenges and rewards of working with couples in this field. |

Anna Morris, Fertility Nurse
Originally from Poland, Anna spent 7 years working as a trained midwife before moving to the UK in 2001. She spent several years working for Nuffield Hospitals and the NHS before joining the clinic in 2006. Anna loves assisting in the theatre as well as performing nurse consultations and recently began her fertility ultrasound training. |

Domenique McGlone, Fertility Nurse
Domenique has worked in the field of Infertility since 1999. Her previous experience in busy London units, both NHS and private, has enabled her to provide a comprehensive service to our patients, including scanning and nurse consultations. She achieved her Diploma in Infertility in 2001 and is also currently undertaking her Fertility Ultrasound Certificate with Derby University. Domenique rejoined the nursing Team at Amberley House in January 2008. |

Sacha Pitt, Healthcare Assistant
Sacha works in tandem with our nursing team to provide additional patient support. Having previously worked as a care assistant, her duties include ensuring patients are comfortable and monitored. Sacha also assists the clinical team with dispensing medications and arranging follow-up care and is currently studying for a midwifery qualification. |

Rachel Wicks, Senior Embryologist
Rachel has worked as an IVF embryologist since 1992 and has particular experience in embryo biopsy for pre-implantation genetic testing. As well as working for two of the UK’s largest IVF units, she spent seven years in Australia developing a satellite IVF service that gave couples in remote areas access to fertility treatment. Rachel has also appeared in the BBC TV programme, ‘Precious Babies’. |

Fiona Foad, Senior Embryologist
A clinical embryologist since 1990, Fiona has extensive experience in all aspects of embryology and sperm bank laboratory management. During an eight-year tenure as Senior Embryologist at a large London clinic, her unit expanded from under 150 cycles per year to over 1,400, making it one of the largest UK IVF laboratories UK. She has personally performed over 1,000 ICSI procedures since 1994 and has helped to establish IVF and micromanipulation laboratories in India and Lithuania. Fiona has also supplied her embryology expertise to IVF clinics in Italy, Greece and Turkey. |

Kate Smith, Embryologist
Kate joined South East Fertility Clinic in September 2007 having previously worked at two other major UK centres. She has been an embryologist for three years and is qualified as an ICSI practitioner. She has also completed her Association of Clinical Embryologists Certificate. Having worked within a large London unit, she is enjoying the wider range of duties and opportunities extended here as part of a busy team offering a more personal approach to couples. |

Johanna Tutt, Financial Administrator
Johanna has long experience in the healthcare financial environment, having helped to set up a Business Office within a new private hospital and also worked as a Financial Administrator for a Consultant Plastic Surgeon. She also has in-depth experience of the world of corporate finance. At SEFC, her role encompasses patient invoicing, credit control and general financial administration. |

Sheila Swale, Administration Co-ordinator
Having worked for many years in the public healthcare sector running a busy multi-GP practice, Sheila joined SEFC in early 2007. Her previous experience in patient and practitioner liaison is particularly valuable and she is committed to ensuring that good communication and discretion remain top priorities at the clinic. |

Phillipa Clinton, Medical Secretary
Phillipa trained as a medical secretary and worked at the Westminster Hospital in London until 1981. She has been ex-patriot with her family and returned to the workplace after raising her two children. Phillipa joined the team in May 2006 and provides general medical secretarial duties. Along with her colleagues she combines her administration duties for the Clinic and Consultant Gynaecologists with ensuring patient enquiries are responded to promptly and appropriately. |

Lynne has worked as a medical secretary since 1995 and joined the South East Fertility Clinic in 2004. She and her co-workers combine a broad range of administration and medical secretarial duties for the Clinic and Consultant. Ensuring patient enquiries are responded to promptly and appropriately are central to the customer focused role she enjoys as part of a job-share scheme. |

Karen Hart, Receptionist
Karen joined the Clinic in August 2007 after six years as a Supervisor Receptionist in a busy Accident and Emergency Department of a local NHS Hospital. After serving as a Police Officer in London she took a career break to raise a family. Since her return to work, she has spent over 10 years being involved in customer service areas within the public and private sector. Victoria Allen, Counsellor
Along with a Diploma in Counselling, Victoria is CCC registered and a member of the British Infertility Counselling Association (BICA). For her own professional development she is currently undertaking the BICA Infertility Counselling Award. A specialist in infertility, Victoria provides implications, therapeutic and support counselling and is also a holistic fertility therapist, enabling her to advise on the wider emotional and lifestyle issues that may affect fertility. Dr. Marilyn Glenville, Nutritionist
Marilyn Glenville PhD is a registered nutritionist who has specialised in women’s health since 1982. A member of the Nutrition Society and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Medicine, she is a patron of the Daisy Network, the premature menopause support group and sits on the Medical Advisory Panel for the registered charity Women’s Health. Dr. Glenville has also written numerous internationally best-selling books including ‘Natural Solutions to Infertility’ and ‘The Nutritional Health Handbook for Women’.
